WASDA, with support from @eu_echo through @save_children (SCI), celebrated the graduation of the Fathers-to-Fathers Support Group (F2FSG) at Wamo Primary Health Unit (PHU). The initiative brought together fathers from the community to equip them with knowledge and skills to support maternal and child nutrition effectively.

The 10 group members received training focused on preventing malnutrition and promoting exclusive breastfeeding, empowering them to play an active role in their families’ health. By involving fathers directly, the program helps foster better care practices at home and encourages shared responsibility in child nutrition.

The graduation event recognized the commitment and achievements of the fathers, highlighting their crucial role in promoting healthy behaviors in their households. Local leaders and community members praised the program for addressing gaps in nutrition awareness and encouraging positive change.

Through this initiative, WASDA aims to strengthen community-based approaches to health and nutrition, ensuring that families have the knowledge and support needed to prevent malnutrition and improve child health outcomes.

WASDA remains committed to promoting inclusive, family-centered interventions that empower both men and women in the fight against malnutrition, building healthier and stronger communities across the region.
